Brian Wood

Real Estate Advisor

Get to Know Me

A lifetime Florida resident and Sarasota member of NAR for nearly two decades, Brian Wood is a familiar face to many and a respected agent in his market. He represents buyers, sellers, and investors in residential real estate throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties, with a focus on pre-construction and custom luxury homes and condominiums in Sarasota, Bradenton, Siesta Key, Lido Key, and Longboat Key. He is also the exclusive agent representing The Forest at Hi Hat Ranch, which fully sold out in 2020.

Brian is the ideal pairing of market-savvy businessmen and down-to-earth confidant. He is well-versed in all aspects of real estate, staying informed on local markets and segments and developing custom-tailored solutions to fit the needs of his clients. Matched with his warm personality and compassionate nature, Brian is a calming force that clients can count on; he strives to lighten the energy and incite joy during the often challenging and hassle-ridden buying or selling journey. He functions as an all-inclusive resource for his clients, offering advice and expertise on the culture, lifestyle, and overall experience of living in the greater Sarasota area. It’s his promise to continue to be available for his clients after the transaction, with many of them becoming lifelong friends as a result.

In tandem with the powerhouse Compass technology and service offering, including data and analytics software, an all-encompassing CRM platform, and a team of HQ marketing advisors, Brian has the tools and resources that take the home buying and selling experience to the next level. Through exclusive programs like Compass Concierge (which offers no-interest home improvement services like staging, flooring, painting, and more), he can sell your home faster and for a higher price.

Born and raised in Boca Raton, Brian moved to Sarasota in 1986 and has never left. He is a family guy at heart; he is the youngest of five siblings and has a wife, two kids, and a beloved dog, Dexter. During his off time, he enjoys being out on the water (boating, fishing) and cooking for friends and family. He enjoys making cooking videos that showcase the splendor of the Florida lifestyle and outdoor living.
