Meet Elizabeth Smith

Over 25 years in the mortgage and real estate industries, her exposure to both began early on, stuffing envelopes for her aunt’s successful real estate business in the 90s.  This early exposure sparked a lifelong dedication to real estate, which she has successfully channeled into serving her clients here in Sarasota.  Calling the area home since the early 2000’s, she took a brief hiatus during the financial crisis of ‘08 to attend graduate school at the University of Florida, allowing her to return to Sarasota with a deeper understanding of market cycles and a level of strategic thinking that truly gives her clients a competitive edge.  Before becoming a realtor, she spent years as a top-producing mortgage loan originator in the area, structuring creative solutions for high-net-worth individuals, helping retirees, first-time buyers, veterans, and active-duty military, and navigating the nuances of Sarasota’s condo market.  Her commitment to achieving her clients’ goals is unwavering and, as a result, has earned her a trusted reputation amongst both clients and colleagues alike.  

Outside of real estate, Elizabeth leads an active life with her family and their two dogs, Punkin and Meatball.  They enjoy boating, fishing, sporting events, skiing, and traveling, especially back to New England and also to Costa Rica, where she lived for many years.  Giving back to the community is her driving force!  On Wednesday evenings, you will find her mentoring teens at Sarasota Teen Court struggling with substance use.  And, after every home sale, a donation is made to one of our area’s local non-profits, and you are part of the selection process!
